Welcome to discovery kids

Nursery

• Infants (birth to 18 months) and toddlers (19months to 3 years) learn about God's love through our caring volunteers and staff. 

Preschool

• Ages 4–5 (PreK) to Kindergarten are welcome to join Preschool Kids Worship on Sunday mornings. Our Preschool class joins in large group worship and then goes to small group time where they continue to learn about God's story, discover truths of the Bible, and how to apply what they are learning through games, crafts, and songs. 

Elementary

• Discovery Kids Worship is for children 1st–6th grade. This is a time where we desire for kids to Discover the Story of God.  Our worship begins with praise songs, fun games, and learning Biblical truths through God's Word, and how we can apply these truths to our lives by loving God and Others. The children are given small group time where they are continuing to enforce the truths we've learned during Worship and how to apply those to their every day lives with children their age.

*Currently only offering children's services and nursery at 11A. Nursery is available unstaffed at 9:30A service for parents/guardians to use as needed.

Bible Quizzing is for 1st–6th graders. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn a book of the Bible through scripture memorization, studying and quizzing on the local, district, and world level. 

 For the 2020-21 season we are studying the book of Exodus. Quizzers will practice on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

 During this time, we read the Scripture, have a time of learning the new material for the week; and then we break into smaller groups for a time of review through games and activities, and practicing quiz questions. 

The cost to quiz is $10/person, and this includes all materials for the season. 

*All are welcome to come on Wednesday.  If your child does not want to compete, they can still study the book of Exodus, and there is no fee. 

We participate in many of the events offered through the North Central Ohio District, including NCO's Got Takent, Bible Quizzing, Preteen Retreat, Kid's Camp, and District Assembly. These times of fellowship allow to build friendships with other children on our district. 

One of the main highlights of the year is our Kid's Summer Camp. Children's camps are at the Pleasant Valley Ranch in Perrysville, OH.  There is a week of Primary Camp, for children who have completed 1st-3rd grade; and a second week of Preteen Camp, for children who have completed 4th-6th grade. 

Children's camp is a memorable experience for each child and allows each one to experience a deeper walk with Jesus.
